The Council on Aging (COA) works to promote and safeguard the health and independence of Cambridge seniors over the age of 60. We arrange many necessary services and provide many meaningful social and recreational options that help enhance our senior’s lives.

COA continues to provide virtual resources, social services, and programming to seniors while expanding in-person offerings at the Cambridge Senior Center and the North Cambridge Senior Center.

In-Person Offerings at the Cambridge Senior Center (806 Massachusetts Ave.)
-  The Computer Lab is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
-  The Billiards Room is open Monday – Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
-  A variety of classes, including exercise, dance, bingo, technology assistance,
  and more, will be offered in-person during Fall 2021.

In-Person Offerings at the North Cambridge Senior Center (2050 Massachusetts Ave.)
-  The building is open to the public every Monday from 11:30am-5:00pm.
Beginning September 17, hours will expand to Fridays from 12:00pm-3:30pm.
-  A selection of classes, including dance, yoga and whist, will be offered in-person during Fall 2021.

To sign up for classes, call the Cambridge Council on Aging at 617-349-6220.
Participants in virtual classes will receive a Zoom email invitation directly from the instructor prior to the start of each class.
