Cambridge Youth Programs

Cambridge Youth Programs (CYP) offers year-round, high-quality programming for Cambridge residents who are pre-teens, middle schoolers, and teens at five Youth Centers across Cambridge. CYP's purpose is to provide Cambridge youth and teens with a just, joyful and caring community where they forge healthy relationships, discover who they are, and develop new skills.

CYP operates two distinct programs: an afterschool program for pre-teens and middle schoolers in grades 4–8, and an evening Teen Program for youth in grades 9–12. Programs are designed to align with national research to promote youth development and leadership. Programs focus on leadership development, connection with peers and adults, and civic engagement. CYP programming also encourages career exploration, life enrichment, and STEAM skill-building.
