Members of the project team will be available to answer questions about the project. We welcome your questions and feedback.

Community Meeting #2 Notice: 135 Sherman St. Multi Use Facility Virtual Meeting
The City of Cambridge invites you to attend a virtual community meeting to learn more about the plans for the City-owned space at 135 Sherman St. Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 6-8 p.m.
This meeting will include a brief presentation outlining the history of the parcel, the proposed tank, and the future use of the space. We welcome your questions and feedback.

NOTICE: Pre-Construction Activities at 135 Sherman St.
As part of the design process for 135 Sherman St., the City’s contractors, ConeTec and SoilX, will be performing investigatory work on-site beginning on or around March 16th. This work includes drilling test borings to get a better understanding of the underground conditions and is expected to last 10 days.
Test borings will be completed within the site, except for one that will be in the roadway.
During this work, you can expect:
- Work crews on-site, within the fenced area, during standard work hours, 7 a.m.- 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
- Trucks entering and exiting 135 Sherman St.
- Occasional loud noise.
At the conclusion of the work, the contractor will restore the area.

Community Meeting #1 Notice: 135 Sherman St Multi Use Facility Community Meeting
Join us on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. to learn about the future plans for the City facility at 135 Sherman Street. This meeting will include:
- A brief presentation outlining the proposed use of the space.
- An interactive workshop where you can explore details, ask questions, and share feedback with members of the project team.
In 2023, the City purchased the lot at 135 Sherman Street as a potential site for a combined sewer overflow holding tank and City facility. The project team has recently concluded a concept design process, and we look forward to sharing our proposed vision for this site with the public.
