Celebrate Lunar New Year with free cultural performances, games, and seasonal treats.
Highlights:
- Lunar New Year–themed food from Foodzilla
- Hot chocolate from S&S
- Winter games hosted by Cambridge Recreation, including:
- Curling
- Shuffleboard
- Broom ball
- Corn hole
- Activities, provided by the Chinese American Association of Cambridge:
- Jianzi (Chinese hackey sack)
- Peking Opera mask painting (inside the library)
- Lantern riddles (inside the library)
- MIT Lion Dance
- Fire and flow performance by MIT Spinning Arts
- Cultural performances curated by Aurora Art Life, including:
- Traditional Mongolian & Chinese Classical Dance Performance: Eva Liu, Founder & Artistic Director of Aurora Art Life
- Peking Opera Performance: Minghua Chen,
- Traditional Chinese Martial Arts & Taiji Performance: Master Narcyz Latecki, International Martial Arts Judge
