Marketing Underway for New Affordable Housing at 52 New Street Apartments

52 New Street Final Rendering

Just A Start (JAS) is beginning the marketing process for its 106-unit affordable development at 52 New Street in Cambridge. Supported with funding from the City of Cambridge and Cambridge Affordable Housing Trust, 52 New Street was the first development to be approved under the Affordable Housing Overlay. Construction is underway, with initial occupancy expected by early 2026. Applications will be available beginning July 1 with a lottery to be held in September.

The first information sessions will be hosted by JAS on the following dates: 

  • May 6, 2025 in-person at 6 p.m. at 430 Rindge Avenue, Cambridge, MA.
