Homeowner’s Rehab, Inc. (HRI) has purchased a one-acre parcel of land where they will be building HRI Concord Highlands, a new 98-unit affordable rental development. The site is located on Concord Avenue across from the Fresh Pond Reservoir. There will be several tiers of affordability at HRI Concord Highlands, including housing for very low-income households (under 30% AMI), low and moderate income households (30-80% AMI) and middle income households (80-100%). The building is designed to meet the highest energy-efficiency and sustainability standards and will enhance the existing neighborhood. HRI received a comprehensive permit for the development and hopes to begin construction in the coming year as they assemble necessary financing.
