Harvard Place

273 Harvard St

In 1999, Cascap, Inc. redeveloped the former Harvard Manor nursing home, located at 273 Harvard Street, and converted it into 21 units of assisted living for low-income seniors. Prior to its redevelopment, the nursing home had been vacant for several years and the City took ownership of the property to spur its redevelopment as affordable housing for seniors.

Cascap restored the original 1860s French mansard-style house while adding a large new addition to the rear of the property. All Harvard Place residents have their own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living space, and common areas for residents to interact with their neighbors.

The redevelopment of this property was completed in 1999. No further updates will be made to this project page.

The redeveloped property includes:

  • 21 one-bedroom affordable rental units with individual kitchens, bathrooms, and living space for low-income seniors
