Corcoran Park

Overview of Corcoran Park

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) is preparing to begin the first phase of the comprehensive redevelopment of their existing Corcoran Park development in Strawberry Hill. The redevelopment of Corcoran Park is expected to involve the demolition and replacement of the existing outdated buildings, built in the early 1950s, with new, deeply affordable rental units that will be built to Passive House standards.

The CHA anticipates creating the revitalized Corcoran Park development under provisions of the Affordable Housing Overlay (AHO).

The Planning Board is holding its first AHO Advisory Design Consultation for the proposed first phase of Corcoran Park project sponsored by the Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. If you'd like to register to participate or watch the meeting, please click here.
