Employees are required to enroll in our combined Dental Insurance and Vision Reimbursement plan through the Cambridge Public Employees Dental and Vision Fund (CDVF). This mandatory plan provides dental coverage administered by Delta Dental and vision coverage administered directly by the Fund at a premium of $8.00 a week for both individual and family plans.
Note: Employees covered by Teamsters Local 25 collective bargaining agreements (with the exception of Public Works Supervisors) receive comprehensive dental and vision coverage through TeamstersCare. Information on plan coverage is available on the TeamstersCare website or by calling 617-241-9220.
Employees can make changes to Dental and Vision Insurance coverage due to a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). This will require documentation and must be made within 30 days of the effective date of that event. Cards will be sent to you within 10 business days.
