Emergency Communications

Email the Cambridge Emergency Communications Department to sign-up and receive emergency alert notifications by phone call, text and/or email.

How to Start

  1. Sign up for emergency alerts.
  2. Once you enroll, you will be set up with an account, so you can manage it.

We encourage anyone who lives, works, attends school, owns property or is otherwise interested in being informed about emergencies connected to one or more Cambridge addresses to enroll.

Requirements

This service will be used in the event of emergencies affecting the City, such as:

  • snow emergencies
  • evacuations
  • large-scale water outages
  • other significant service disruptions
