Notice to Water Bill Recipients, bills dated May 14, 2019:
In our most recent cycle of water bills, some residents (approximately 20-25) may have mistakenly received a return envelope for the Town of Fairhaven. The City of Cambridge relies on a third party mailing service to distribute its bills. If you received a return envelope for Fairhaven, please recycle it and either make your Water payment online or mail to address below. We apologize for this inconvenience

The Cambridge Water Department (CWD) is a municipally owned and operated water utility, responsible for the treatment and delivery of water to the residents of Cambridge. Water originates from the Hobbs Brook Reservoir, Stony Brook Reservoir and Fresh Pond water supply system with the occasional supplement from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) system. The department is also responsible for the preservation, protection, and management of the City's watershed and reservoirs.
