Annual Rabies Clinic for Dogs To Be Held April 4

Rabies-vaccination-clinic

A low-cost rabies vaccination clinic for dogs only will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 9-11 a.m. The event will be held behind Cambridge Public Works, 147 Hampshire Street.

This event is open to all. Cost is $15 per dog. Cash or checks only will be accepted.

Please provide proof of prior rabies vaccination by bringing either a rabies vaccination certificate or a copy of the dog's medical records with a rabies expiration date. This will ensure that your dog gets a three-year shot instead of a one-year shot.

Additionally, annual dog licenses will be available for Cambridge residents. The cost of a dog license is $20 for Spayed/Neutered Dogs and $30 for Unspayed/Unneutered Dogs.

Rabies vaccinations are required by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 140, section 137, for all dogs 6 months or older.

For more information, contact Cambridge Animal Control at animalcommission@cambridgema.gov.
