Cultural Infrastructure

In collaboration with the City Manager's Office and Cambridge Arts, the city's Information Technology Department has created a new open dataset for organizations and venues providing arts programming in Cambridge. This directory will help residents track and assess Cambridge's rich arts scene, and the City provide support to the cultural organizations. A digital map is available below. If you are an organization that would like to be included, please fill out this form.

This data informs the regional collaboration Making Space for Art, a joint effort by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) and the cities of Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville to establish policies and strategies that expand and protect the region’s cultural infrastructure—the physical spaces used across creative disciplines for making and experiencing arts and culture

If you need assistance filling out the form, please contact Claudia Zarazua at czarazua@cambridgema.gov.
