Cambridge 311 Performance Dashboard Now Available

311 dashboard

The City of Cambridge is pleased to announce the public launch of a tool we’ve been using internally to measure and improve how the City responds to SeeClickFix (311) service requests. The Cambridge 311 Performance Dashboard is our performance yardstick. It's the same tool our teams rely on every day to stay on track, and now we’re giving you access to it too.

What does the dashboard show?

Every service request (like a pothole repair, graffiti removal, or park maintenance) has a target response time, known as a Service Level Agreement (SLA). For example, we aim to resolve 80% of missed recycling pickup requests within 48 hours. The first thing you’ll see when you open the dashboard, is a chart that shows the percentage of requests that meet those goals within service categories.

Other views allow you to see the response rate and average response time within each category. You can filter by date range, department and service category.

Hit “Trends” to see performance rates over time, to see how we are progressing:

Please note that requests made in the last 30 days are not included to allow sufficient time for issues to be resolved before being counted. By default, 90 days of data are loaded into the viewer, but you can expand the date range to load additional data.

Explore the dashboard at: https://cityofcambridge.shinyapps.io/Cambridge311Dashboard/

Once there, you can:

It’s built so anyone—residents, reporters, researchers—can dive in and understand how the City is doing.
