Cambridge Weekend Traffic Impacts: Street Closures Saturday May 31 and Sunday, June 1

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend due to scheduled community events on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1. Events include the Attic Block Party (affecting Harvard Square) and the Cambridge 5K at CambridgeSide.

Traffic impacts and street closures are expected throughout the weekend across Cambridge. Please follow all posted detour signage, plan ahead, and consider using alternative routes or modes of transportation.

Saturday, May 31: Attic Block Party

  • First Street will be closed from Cambridge Street to Binney Street from 7am – 11am
• Time of Closure: 7AM-11AM

  • Cardinal Medeiros Avenue from Binney Street to Hampshire Street
