The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the week due to several community events. These include the Juneteenth Parade and Celebration, Saint Anthony Feast, Cambridge Arts River Festival, Hoops ‘N’ Health (rescheduled from last week), Cambridge Refugee Food Festival, and the Boston 10K.
Traffic impacts and street closures are expected throughout the weekend across Cambridge. Please follow all posted detour signage, plan ahead, and consider using alternative routes or modes of transportation.
Street Closures:
Pleasant St at Mass Ave Closed 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Blackstone St from Western Ave to River St Closed 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Parade Route:
The parade will meet and depart from 10 Pleasant Street at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street in Central Square. The parade will proceed down Pleasant Street to Western Avenue, then to Blackstone Street, and conclude at Riverside Press Park.
Rain date is Friday, June 20.
