Weekend Traffic Impacts for September 27 and 28 Community Events

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of street closures and traffic impacts Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 due to Arts in the Park, S.S. Cosmas and Damian Society Open House, Paddy's 5K, and the East Cambridge Rib FestivalPlease follow all posted detour signage, plan ahead, and consider using alternative routes or modes of transportation.

 

Saturday, September 27Arts in the Park

  • Street Closures and Impacts:

  • Area surrounding Clement Morgan Park (60 Columbia St)

  • Columbia Street between Bishop Allen Drive and Washington Street closed

  • Pine Street between Washington Street and School Street closed

  • Eaton Street at Cherry Street closed

  • Time of Closures:

  • 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday, September 27: S.S. Cosmas and Damian Society Open House

  • Street Closures and Impacts:

  • Porter Street closed

  • Time of Closures:

  • 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM

 

Sunday, September 28Paddy's Cambridge Classic 5K

  • Street Closures and Impacts:

  • Area surrounding 260 Walden Street impacted

  • Walden Street between Sherman Street and Garden Street closed 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

  • Time of Closures:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Walden Street)

  • Rolling closures during race (Check the race website for the route)

  • Cambridge Street between 5th Street and Fulkerson St closed
  • Impacted Streets: 6th at Cambridge St, 7th at Cambridge St, 8th at Cambridge St, Gore St at 6th St.

  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
