Harvard Square Traffic Impacts: Chocolate Festival and Chili Cook-Off

The City of Cambridge is preparing for two events this month that are expected to cause traffic delays and road closures in Harvard Square.

 

Saturday, March 7: Harvard Square Taste of Chocolate Festival

The Harvard Square Business Association will host their 18th Annual "Taste of Chocolate Festival" on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Brattle Street between Eliot and Church streets will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please plan ahead and use alternate routes. Learn more. 

 

Saturday, March 14: Harvard Square Chili Cook Off

The Harvard Square Business Association will host the “Some Like It Hot” Chili Cook Off on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Harvard Square. Brattle Street between Eliot and Church streets will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please plan ahead and use alternate routes. Learn more.
