This page describes the City of Cambridge' retail interior accessibility grant program.

The City of Cambridge Community Development Department (CDD) established the Retail Interior Accessibility Program to provide financial assistance to independent business tenants seeking to renovate or improve the interior of their commercial buildings to make their businesses more accessible to those who are physically disabled.

Copies of original TV programming produced by 22-CityView, the City’s municipal television channel, are available on DVD upon request.

22-CityView is responsible for the television and audio production needs related to programming on the City of Cambridge Municipal Channel.

22-CityView broadcasts all regular meetings of the Cambridge City Council and certain City Council Committee meetings, in addition to showing both original and acquired programming.

Cambridge small businesses now qualify for more funding to help pay for exterior and interior improvements, equipment purchases, and marketing upgrades.

Update the interior of the Central Square Library. The upgrade will include new furniture that is more modern and comfortable, a new technology table that allows for easy laptop hook-up, and scanners, printers, and other technology.

Beginning Spring 2019 and lasting for approximately 12 months, several improvements will be taking place at the Taylor Square Fire Station. Work will be taking place on the interior and exterior of the building. See below for project updates, timeline and additional info.
