Description
Celebrating Disability Pride is a community-wide event with the purpose of elevating the dignity, visibility and equitable inclusion of people who identify as having a disability in Cambridge. Created by and for a coalition of Cambridge residents who have a lived experience with a disability, or care for someone who does, the event works to eliminate stigma and promote community-celebration while demonstrating a framework for accessible and inclusive public programming. This family friendly event welcomes all to participate in a variety of inclusive activities such as a silent disco, sensory friendly areas, informational resources, and more!
The event is hosted by the Cambridge Public Health Department, the City of Cambridge, and the Cambridge Health Alliance.
