Description
Join us for a conversation on the historical significance of the Women's Community Cancer Project Mural in Harvard Square.
The Women’s Community Cancer Project was formed by women from Boston, Lexington, and Cambridge to support those with cancer. They focused on gender-inclusive healthcare and reforming medical training. Their efforts led to the creation of the iconic, but now deteriorating, mural created by artist Beatrice “Be” Sargent. It stands as a symbol of courage and solidarity.
