    • Omo Moses Presents: The White Peril Book Launch (Main Library)

Main Library, Lecture Hall, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

In The White Peril, Omo Moses deftly interweaves his own life story with excerpts from both his great-grandfather’s sermons and the writings of his father, the civil rights activist Bob Moses. The result is a powerful chorus of voices that spans 3 generations of an African American family, all shining a light on the Black experience, all calling fiercely for racial justice. The book launch will include a panel discussion on the theme of family and movement moderated by Tony Clark, co-President of MBK Cambridge. Panelists include: Janet Moses, Omo Moses, Maisha Moses, Taba Moses, and Cambridge School Committee member, Richard Harding. A virtual option is now available for this program. This event is cosponsored by Cambridge Public Library and MBK Cambridge. Registration is required.
