The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend due to scheduled community events on June 6, 2026.
One year after opening in Harvard Square, the Cambridge KiOSK has grown into a year-round place for visitor information, cultural programming, and community gathering. On Sunday, June 7, at 1:25 p.m., the City will mark the anniversary with a free public celebration featuring live music, participatory activities, and a gathering recognizing the people and partnerships that have shaped the KiOSK’s first year.
Residents, business owners, employees, and community members are invited to stop by one of two informal Coffee Talk sessions to meet with City staff and project contractors to ask questions and learn more about the River Street Project.
