Climate Care

Climate Care

Caring for the climate by caring for our community.

We are a city that cares about climate change and about each other. City staff and engaged residents are making progress on efforts to create a stronger, cleaner, and more connected city for all.

For these reasons, we call our climate change work Climate Care.

Climate Care means caring for the climate by caring for our community. It means confronting the inequitable causes and effects of climate change. The priority must be meeting the needs of people whose health and safety are most threatened by climate change.

Climate Care is also about accountability: large institutions and corporations that create the most emissions must take the most action to solve the problem.

This page shares updates on how we are making a difference together and resources to get more involved. Join us in creating a future that cares for both people and the planet.
