Pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2022 adopted by Massachusetts General Assembly and approved by the Governor, this meeting will be hybrid allowing participation in the Sullivan Chamber and remotely via ZOOM at

The Ordinance Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.on a Zoning Petition by Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., to amend the Cambridge Zoning Ordinance in Article 13.000 and Zoning Map with the intent of amending Section 13.59.42 to allow for the transfer of 250,000 square feet of Gross Floor Area from the PUD-4C Zoning District on the Industry B Zoning District in exchange for the conversion of the existing brick and beam structure at 161 First Street into Affordable Housing and creating “Technology Square Transfer Receiving District” in the Zoning Map.
