Upcoming Weekend Traffic Impacts: June 26 - 29

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend and early next week in Cambridge due to scheduled community events. Events include the City of Cambridge Dance Party, the Summer Classic 5K, and a Cambridge United community soccer watch party on Monday. 

Friday, June 26: City of Cambridge Dance Party

• • Area surrounding City Hall (795 Mass Ave) including:

  • • Mass Ave closed between Prospect St & Clinton St;

    • Inman St closed between Harvard St & Mass Ave;

    • Bigelow St closed between Mass Ave and Harvard St;

    • Temple St closed between Mass Ave & Bishop Allen Drive;

    • Bishop Allen Drive closed between Prospect St & Inman St;

    • Pleasant St closed between Mass Ave & Green St;

• Time of Closures: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Franklin St, closed from Brookline St to Sidney St from 9:00-10:15
• The race will start at 9:30AM and the following streets will be affected, not closed.

  • Amherst St from Mass Ave to Vassar St 9:32-9:47
  • Vassar St from Amesbury St to Mass Ave 9:37-9:55
  • Waverly St from Reardon St to Putnam Ave 9:37-9:57
  • Putnam Ave from Waverly St to Brookline St 9:37-9:58
  • Brookline St from Putnam Ave to Franklin St 9:38-10:00
