Upcoming Traffic Impacts: June 16–21

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the week and weekend in Cambridge due to scheduled community events from Tuesday, June 16 to Sunday, June 21 including the Taste of CambridgeJuneteenth Celebration and Parade, two Cambridge United Soccer Events, Cambridge Pride, and the 2026 B.A.A. 10K.

Please follow all posted detour signage, plan ahead, and consider using alternative routes or modes of transportation.

 

Tuesday, June 16: Cambridge United Soccer Event: Iraq vs. Norway

  • Street Closure:

    • Brattle Square Plaza; Brattle St between Brattle Sq & Church St; Church St Between Palmer St & Brattle St.

  • Time of Closure: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Street Closure:
    • Sidney Street between Franklin Street and Pacific Street

  • Street Closure:

  • Street Closure:
    • Inman Street between Bishop Allen Dr and Mass Ave

Saturday, June 20: Select Market Vintage - Harvard Square

  • Street Closure:
    • Brattle Street between Brattle Square and Church Street
  • Time of Impacts: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday, June 21: B.A.A. 10K Presented by Mass General Brigham Cancer Center

  • Rolling Street Closures:
    • Longfellow bridge (eastbound lanes) and Memorial Drive (both east and westbound lanes) and turn around just before the B.U. Bridge, and then turns right over the Mass Ave Bridge to head into Kenmore Square / Back Bay
  • Time of Impacts: 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Sunday, June 21: Challapalooza Music Festival
