The 5K race begins and ends at CambridgeSide in East Cambridge. Beginning at 10 a.m., participants will travel along Edwin H. Land Boulevard and Memorial Drive. Expect road closures in the area between 6:30 a.m. and noon on Saturday, October 31.
The following roads will close during the event:
Closures along the race route:
Land Boulevard (from Binney Street to Memorial Drive): 9:45 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Memorial Drive – eastbound and westbound (from Land Boulevard to BU Bridge): 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Closures between First Street and Second Street near CambridgeSide:
Otis Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Thorndike Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Spring Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Charles Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Bent Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Rogers Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Binney Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Linskey Way (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
Athenaeum Street (from Second Street to First Street): 7 a.m. to noon
The Half Marathon will begin and end on Edwin H. Land Boulevard in East Cambridge this year. Beginning at 7 a.m., participants will travel west along Memorial Drive toward West Cambridge before returning along the Charles River.
Due to the updated race route, road closures will differ from previous years. Expect road closures beginning at 5 a.m., with roads anticipated to reopen by 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 1.

Memorial Drive – eastbound and westbound (along the race route toward Gerry's Landing Road): 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Rogers Street (from First Street to Land Boulevard): 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
