Human Service Programs

Join us for free food and fun each summer! The Cambridge Summer Food Program provides free, nutritious meals to Cambridge children and youth every weekday at parks across the city. The program also provides meals to eligible summer camps and free snacks at "Screen on the Green" Family Movie nights.

  • Open to all Cambridge residents ages 18 and under
  • Free meals at local parks Monday - Friday (view map of locations)  
  • No identification required to get a meal
  • Vegetarian options at every location

Summer Food Program Scheduling Updates (August 2024)

  • Beginning Monday August 19 through August 30, the Summer Food Program will shift to 5 locations. See details below.
  • Dinner meals will not be served August 19 through August 30. 

In the event of rain or dangerous weather, meals will be served inside at the Cambridge Senior Center's entrance on Green St. (View rain pick up location). Follow us on X (@CambridgeDHSP) and Facebook (@CambridgeDHSP) for updates.

Breakfast and Lunch (Monday - Friday)

Breakfast: 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.    Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Games and activities: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
