City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Patriots’ Day Holiday Monday, April 20

In observance of the Patriots’ Day holiday on Monday, April 20, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed, and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and pay stations. The offices of Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue will be closed for the holiday, but the gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Curbside collection of trash, recycling, food waste, and yard waste will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind for the remainder of the week. There will be no street cleaning on the Patriots’ Day holiday. Streets that would normally be cleaned on April 20 (third Monday of the month) will instead be cleaned on Wednesday, April 29.

To register for reminders about street cleaning and curbside collection, sign up for city newsletters (including the Daily Update), project updates, and important alerts via text or email, visit cambridgema.gov/subscribe.
