New Dive 1 truck was placed in service

The new Dive 1 was placed in service on Monday, September 15, 2025. This truck is a Ford F450/Road Rescue, four wheel drive & replaces an older Dive Rescue apparatus.
This truck is utilized to support the CFD firefighter divers in emergency underwater search & rescue operations. It carries SCUBA (self contained underwater breathing apparatus), breathing air cylinders, cold water entry suits, communications equipment, lights, safety lines, decon materials, and much more.
Thank you to the members of Rescue 1 & Engine 1, Tech Services, & the Fleet Mechanics for their work to outfit the new truck!
