Beginning Spring 2019 and lasting for approximately 12 months, several improvements will be taking place at the Taylor Square Fire Station. Work will be taking place on the interior and exterior of the building. See below for project updates, timeline and additional info.

CDC Statement on ACIP Booster Recommendations
CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendation for a booster shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in certain populations and also recommended a booster dose for those in high risk occupational and institutional settings. The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) authorization and CDC’s guidance for use are important steps forward as we work to stay ahead of the virus and keep Americans safe.

Spring Bike Ride
Join us for the annual Spring Bike Ride! There will be mechanics on site pre-ride for safety checks and quick maintenance. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided after the ride.
Crafternoon: Modular Origami (Collins)
Get creative after school! Learn to fold a single Sonobe unit, then repeat. We will connect multiple Sonobes into a three-dimensional object to take home. Please note: latecomers arriving after 4:15 p.m. may not have time to complete this project.
Recommended for children ages 6-12 and their caregivers.
