On Wednesday, April 23rd the Police Department was grateful for the opportunity to join multiple City of Cambridge departments and regional partners out in front of Robert W. Healy Public Safety Building for the Science of Public Safety Touch-A-Truck Event.
Climate Action Book Club (Collins)
Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action. Books have been reserved for the group and may be picked up at Collins. Topic: Climate Fiction Book: The Future by Naomi Alderman Registration is encouraged but not required. Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP)
The goal of MSYEP is to serve as a young person's first job experience and exposure to the world of work. The program is open to Cambridge residents ages 14 through the summer after completing high school. Teens are placed in public sector and non-profit jobs throughout Cambridge and in surrounding communities for six weeks during the summer.
