In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Cambridge Public Health Department in collaboration with the Community Safety Department, the Cambridge Public Library and Find It Cambridge will be sponsoring a panel discussion and tabling event. Come learn from our panel of local mental health providers as they discuss how to access support for yourself or a loved one and what to expect when reaching out. The event will take place on May 19th, 6-8pm at the Cambridge Public Library, main branch. Light refreshments and childcare will be provided. The Community Development Department is working on a set of citywide design guidelines to meet our vision for a beautiful, sustainable, and equitable Cambridge.

The goal of MSYEP is to serve as a young person's first job experience and exposure to the world of work. The program is open to Cambridge residents ages 14 through the summer after completing high school. Teens are placed in public sector and non-profit jobs throughout Cambridge and in surrounding communities for six weeks during the summer.

A Draft version of the City's FY26 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) is available for review and comment.

Every month we will read and discuss a short story as a group. For April we will be reading "The Locked Room" from Homesick for Another World by Ottessa Moshfegh. Copies of the story will be available for pick up at the Central Square Branch. Registration is helpful but not required!
