Brewster St (Appleton to Sparks) and Riedesel Ave (Brattle to Brewster) are scheduled for street and sidewalk reconstruction in 2018 as part of the City's 5 Year Sidewalk & Street Reconstruction Plan.

Sixth Street between Cambridge Street and Bent Street is currently scheduled for roadway work in the summer of 2018 as part of the City's 5 Year Street & Sidewalk Plan.

The City of Cambridge announced that it has rescinded its Amended Temporary Emergency Construction Order issued on June 22, 2020. Effective May 10, 2021, all construction in the city shall comply with the City of Cambridge Face Coverings Order, all applicable Commonwealth Mandatory Safety Standards for Workplaces, and the protocols for Sectors Not Otherwise Addressed.

Required by the Operator and the Property Owner which certifies compliance with all requisite rules and regulations and the accuracy of submitted documents.

Due to a calculation error, the Cambridge case counts reported for April 12 reflected an over count. The Cambridge Public Health Department has since reconciled the discrepancy in positive case counts among Cambridge residents (in non-institutional settings) and newly reported cases in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

The City of Cambridge has launched the 13th Participatory Budgeting process. Members of the community have until October 11 to submit ideas for projects to improve Cambridge and be part of next year’s FY28 Budget.
