Join us every first and third Monday of the month to learn and practice Zen meditation with our neighbors at the Cambridge Zen Center! Each session consists of a 15 minutes of introduction meditation, 20 minutes of sitting, followed by 10 minutes for questions. This meeting seeks to provide an important opportunity for residents impacted by the May 11th Memorial Drive shooting to connect, process, voice thoughts and concerns, and begin to heal. Members of the Cambridge Police Department will be on hand to provide an overview of the event, explain the emergency response, and outline what to expect from the investigation and court process. Representatives from the Mayor's Office, Cambridge Public Health and the Riverside Trauma Center will also be available to share information on how community members can seek any support services.

This summer, more than 500 Cambridge pre-teens, middle schoolers, and teens explored new interests and skills, made lasting connections with peers, and experienced joy through summer programs and internships offered through Cambridge Youth Programs (CYP), a division of the Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP).
