The Sumner Tunnel, a key connection from Logan Airport and East Boston to downtown Boston and Cambridge, will fully close for restoration work from Wednesday, July 5, to Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Please join the Cambridge Public Library in welcoming Stephanie Foo, the author of the bestselling memoir What My Bones Know: A Memoir of Healing from Complex Trauma, for a reading and discussion of her book. Called "a work of immense beauty" by Publisher's Weekly in a starred review, Foo's memoir about enduring C-PTSD has become an essential document for so many survivors and those that know them. This is a hybrid event and registration is required.

Human survivors have moved underground, and it's up to 10-year-old Elvie to distribute a cure made from Monarch wing scales to save the world! Due to a calculation error, the Cambridge case counts reported for April 12 reflected an over count. The Cambridge Public Health Department has since reconciled the discrepancy in positive case counts among Cambridge residents (in non-institutional settings) and newly reported cases in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
