Build Two Bus Shelters
Install bus shelters at two bus stops. Locations will be selected to benefit the greatest number of riders. Providing accessible, safe, and comfortable shelters encourages use of public transportation and supports the City's environmental goals.
An Afternoon with Boston Globe Columnist Barbara Wallraff (Main)
Co-sponsored by the Cambridge Public Library and the Cambridge Public Library Foundation, the Boston Globe columnist, Barbara Wallraff will speak about her career and column on language, “May I have a word?”. She has had a long career in journalism, primarily as a copy editor, starting at Boston Phoenix then at the Atlantic and today as a columnist at the Globe.
Small Business Assistance
Small businesses are an important part of Cambridge’s diverse and thriving economy. To support and promote current small business owners and aspiring local entrepreneurs, the Community Development Department’s economic development division offers a variety of programs, workshops, grants, and resources.
