A business use sidewalk obstruction permit is required if you are a business in the City of Cambridge and want to use an “A” framed sign, sandwich board, display merchandise, temporary banner or use tables and chairs on a sidewalk in the public way.

Demographic information from the US Census Bureau is available at three geographic levels: Citywide Demographics, Neighborhood Demographics, which provide information about the 13 neighborhoods of Cambridge, and Census Tract Demographics.

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 16, 2023, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed and curbside collection service will be suspended. Additionally, parking meter/pay station payments will not be required.

Youth ages 10-16 are welcome to join for three sessions of cooperative role-play and storytelling as we build out skills playing the table-top game DnD. The first session will include a character-building introduction followed by play continued into the next two sessions. No prior DnD experience is required, and experienced players are also welcome to join. Registration is required, as the program is capped at 8 players. Please plan to attend all sessions! The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability. The Birth to 3rd Grade Partnership (B3), continued its scholarship program for 3 and 4 year-olds from low-income families, adding two new programs to its menu of preschool options, and also increased its number of children accessing B3 scholarships by 13%.
