Pathway for Immigrant Workers (PIW) is a Cambridge-based nonprofit serving the Greater Boston area. PIW represents local employers who would not otherwise have the means to sponsor a minimum wage worker for a green card. PIW will assist low wage workers in employment-sponsored lawful permanent residence applications. After an initial assessment, if appropriate PIW will represent the employer in the immigration process.

Bike Parking and Bike Repair Stations
Biking infrastructure doesn’t end with bike lanes. This project will construct a bike shelter with 20 covered spaces. Install 50 new bike racks with a capacity for 100 bikes and install 10 new bike repair stations.

Esta clase de RCP cubrirá habilidades para salvar la vida de bebés, niños y adultos. Utilizaremos tecnología y práctica para que los estudiantes adquieran habilidades y confianza para ayudar a salvar la vida en una situación médica. Esta clase también cubrirá entrenamiento y el uso de DEA (Desfibrilador Externo Automatizado) para todas las edades, junto con habilidades para salvar la vida de una persona en situación de asfixia. Los estudiantes recibirán su certificado al completar la clase. Tenga en cuenta que la Ciudad no es responsable del contenido o equipo de entrenamiento.
Cupos limitados (20 adultos), se requiere inscripción.
Nota para participantes CONFIRMADOS: Su lugar está reservado hasta la hora de inicio del programa. Una vez que comience el programa, llenaremos los lugares disponibles de una lista de espera del día hasta que el programa alcance su capacidad máxima. Planee llegar a la biblioteca aproximadamente 15 minutos antes de la hora de inicio para contar con el tiempo necesario para registrarse antes de que comience el programa. Safety Awareness Presentation for Older Adults
This will be an opportunity for older adults to meet with the newest members of the Cambridge Police Community Outreach Team and to learn about all the ways that the Cambridge Police work.
