Volunteering at the Cambridge Community Learning Center (CLC) is a great way to connect with your community while helping adult learners reach their goals.

Case investigation and contact tracing are important strategies for helping to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community. When public health representatives call, you can do your part by answering the phone and providing information that can help stop the spread of COVID-19. If you miss the call, please listen to the message and call back!

The City of Cambridge wants to know how Cambridge residents feel about the COVID-19 vaccine and what questions or concerns you may have to help us communicate important information more clearly to you and your community. Your answers will help the City plan how to share information with residents to help encourage everyone to get vaccinated.

Join us for this special summer reading edition of a fun, interactive, activity-based American Sign Language lesson, including: Everyday communication signs (greetings, help, common phrases, fun "Plant a seed, read!" summer reading themed signs) How to respectfully and effectively interact with Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals Basic expressive communication using facial expressions and body language How to navigate simple real-life scenarios using ASL Inclusive communication strategies that can be used immediately The session also includes: Silent communication challenges Interactive group practice Engaging sign language games This program is recommended for participants ages 10 and up. Join us for an hour of songs, stories, and social meet-up in Mandarin Chinese with JingJing and Chelsea, two local mothers and educators. This fun and interactive session brings families together in a warm, welcoming environment. This event is for children and their caregivers. In the first half, listen to engaging stories and sing lively songs. In the second half, children will do an activity, and everyone will have an opportunity to socialize.
