Working with the Department of Public Works, the Open Data team has created a new collection of data sets exploring the City’s waste production over time.

Building permits are issued by the Inspectional Services Department. Anyone seeking to construct, alter, repair, or demolish a structure must first obtain a building permit.

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) helps income-eligible Cambridge and Somerville residents pay their winter heating bills between November 1 – April 30. Applications to HEAP are accepted beginning October 1.
