Celebrate Jasmine Warga's new book, The Unlikely Tale of Chase and Finnegan, about an unlikely friendship between a cheetah and a rescue dog who are paired as an animal ambassador team at a zoo — at this special event. Meet animals from The Zoo in Forest Park (Springfield, MA) and discover the amazing adaptations that help them survive in the wild. Ask questions and learn what you can do to protect wildlife. Recommended for children ages 6 and up. This event is part of a special series promoting our 2026 Curious George Lecture with Jasmine Warga, award-winning author of A Rover's Story, Other Words for Home and many other popular children's books. Learn basic music production skills with FL Studio, a digital music workspace. In this hands-on introductory class, become familiar with core tools for creating and arranging digital beats and melodies. Registration is required. You must complete Hive Safety Training and Studio Recording training before registering for this workshop.

Biography: Zeenat Potia teaches meditation in Buddhist and secular spaces, and has taught at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center since 2014. She practices vipassana at CIMC and the Insight Meditation Society, and has over 15 years of meditation training, including extensive silent retreat experience in the Early Buddhist tradition. Zeenat is committed to healing and recovery through trauma-sensitive mindfulness. She is an instructor for Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare’s Mind the Moment program and works directly with corporations, non-profit organizations and universities in the delivery of secular mindfulness programs. While COVID-19 cases are declining, infection rates are still high in Cambridge and the state. The Cambridge Public Health Department reminds residents who have COVID-19 to notify your close contacts so that they may take precautions to help stop the spread. A close contact is anyone who has been within 6 feet of you for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period while indoors during the two days before you got sick OR the two days before your positive test was taken if you don’t have symptoms. By telling your close contacts that they may have been in contact with COVID-19, you are helping to protect everyone.

The Traffic Board is a three-member board established to review petitions regarding the adoption, alteration, and repeal of the City’s Traffic Rules and Regulations and to provide advice and consultation to the Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department.
