Practice your Spanish language skills in a friendly group setting! Please note, this is not a class, but rather an informal conversation group. This group is best for speakers with knowledge of basic vocabulary, comprehension skills, and the ability to form sentences. Speakers at an advanced beginner to intermediate level or higher are encouraged to join. All ages welcome. No registration required.

Cambridge Public Schools Rights & Responsibilities Handbook-CANCELLED

The City of Cambridge stands in solidarity with our Haitian and Syrian communities following today’s Supreme Court ruling affecting Temporary Protected Status. We recognize the deep concern and anxiety that many families are likely experiencing as they face losing temporary protections that have allowed them to live, work, and thrive in our city, state, and country.

Come explore the nature in our urban backyard! We will take a leisurely walk as we observe and learn together about the animals and plants at Alewife Reservation. You are welcome to bring binoculars, magnifying glasses or any other observational tool. The paths and boardwalks are well maintained but can be muddy in places. The walk will meet at the stone benches by the wetland boardwalk. To view the location in Google Maps and get directions, click here. Limited free parking is available in the Alewife Reservation lot on Acorn Drive. In case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled. Registration is helpful but not required. What's hot & cold & read all over? The O'Neill Branch Library's new HVAC system! Bring a hot or cold dish to share as we celebrate community and our new heating and cooling system. We'll provide a hot fudge sundae bar, plates, napkins, and cutlery. Library staff will also be on hand to ask how we can be the best library for you. Tell us how you use our collections, technology, programs, services, and spaces. Share what library services have the biggest impact on you. Your feedback will help us improve services and set priorities for the coming years.

Cambridge Police Policy & Procedures

Nine projects in total were selected after 10,172 Cambridge residents age 12 and older voted how to spend $1 million on capital and operating projects to improve the community.

This year, the Cambridge Department of Public Works will recognize 4 employees who demonstrated exemplary work performance with the presentation of the "Commissioner's Award for Outstanding Performance" at a ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, at Public Works.
