The Early Childhood Education Career Training Program is recruiting participants for its 2025-2026 cycle. This free program provides training and job experience for people who want to start a career as an early childhood educator.

JAS held an initial community meeting on January 14th, 2025 to introduce themselves and the project to the community. They are holding another community meeting on July 24th at 6 p.m. at 243 Broadway, Cambridge and via Zoom to present updated designs and to collect feedback. The City of Cambridge announced that it has rescinded its Amended Temporary Emergency Construction Order issued on June 22, 2020. Effective May 10, 2021, all construction in the city shall comply with the City of Cambridge Face Coverings Order, all applicable Commonwealth Mandatory Safety Standards for Workplaces, and the protocols for Sectors Not Otherwise Addressed.

The DGBVPI works to raise public awareness and understanding through trainings, social media campaigns, visual displays, workshops, etc. The Initiative also works with various organizations to create prevention strategies that are appropriate for their needs, setting, and population.
