Information about the Focused Deterrence Program helping the City's most frequent criminal offenders.

Youth ages 10-16 are welcome to join for three sessions of cooperative role-play and storytelling as we build out skills playing the table-top game DnD. The first session will include a character-building introduction followed by play continued into the next two sessions. No prior DnD experience is required, and experienced players are also welcome to join. Registration is required, as the program is capped at 8 players. Please plan to attend all sessions! (Registration is attached to the first DnD session on 11/7 and closed on that date.) The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability. The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend due to scheduled community events on May 16-18, 2025. Choose from a selection of images and transform it into a print by carving the image into easy cut linoleum. You will love the satisfying process of carving away the linoleum to reveal the design. Once the carving is complete, the block will be inked and printed. Each person will take home a carved block for future use, and a collection of their own hand printed pieces!

Cambridge Urban Forest Management Recommendations

A three-part webinar series designed to invest in your health, wellness, and longevity. Take fear and uncertainty out of the future by being prepared for changes in health. This session will cover topics and tips related to preparing for sudden changes and what you can do to minimize the impact of illness, such as advanced directives, emergency planning, and communication. This event will be held online. A Zoom link will be sent to registrants one hour before the session begins.

Combine your love for art and Spring, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with trees and take artistic observations of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (hats, sunscreen, water) in the event of hot weather. Registration is required.
