A Special Event is a large event such as a festival, road race, parade, film shoot or walkathon. Such events may feature entertainment, amusement rides and food and beverages. Special events may require a number of permits from various City departments depending on the size and nature of the event. The City's Public Works Department manages the City's Special Event program.

Tony Toledo has been telling stories to pay his rent since the end of the 20th Century. Tony has visited many libraries, told many stories, and passed out many riddle bookmarks. Tony grew up in Ohio, served in the Army, bicycled from Oregon to Virginia, sampled Law School, hosts his annual Corn Party In Beverly and loves peach pie more than chocolate cake. The Urban Agriculture Task Force is developing an ordinance that includes 1) zoning to explicitly allow agricultural activities, and, 2) regulations to support and limit activities.

Cambridge has been recategorized as a “yellow” risk community based on new data published by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health today. A Yellow designation is given to communities where the average daily case rate over the last 14 days is 4-8 cases per 100,000 population.
