We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for a special Women's History Month evening story time event. This program will run for 20-25 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required. Please call 617-349-4019 for more information.

Harvard Book Store and the Cambridge Public Library welcome Molly Jong-Fast—contributing writer at Vanity Fair, political analyst at MSNBC News, and host of the podcast “Fast Politics”—for a discussion of her new book How to Lose Your Mother: A Daughter's Memoir. She will be joined in conversation by Laura Zigman—author of six novels, including the bestsellers Small World, Separation Anxiety, and Animal Husbandry. Registration is required.

Here’s your chance to try an instrument in a judgment-free zone that encourages exploration and excitement! After an introduction to the instruments, participants get a chance to bow a violin, blow a horn or tap out a rhythm on a drum. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. Relax and recharge your internal battery with one of our classic board games or bring your own personal fave. Adult Gaming: Unplugged takes place on the first Monday of every month from 6:00 -- 7:30 PM in the Rossi Room. Be there or be square! For the month of December, Adult Gaming: Unplugged will be held on Monday, December 8th, 2026. It will return to its first Monday of the month schedule starting January 5, 2026.

It's a weekly block party! Join friends to design and build amazing LEGO structures. Let your imagination run wild! For children ages 5 and up (children under age 7 must be accompanied by a caregiver). The Children's Room has plenty of LEGO pieces, so you don't need to bring your own.
