The annual Cambridge Arts Open Studios will take place all across Cambridge on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21 and 22, 2024, from noon to 6 p.m. each day. The citywide event celebrates all the creativity that is Cambridge. Shop for paintings, prints, clothing, ceramics, and all sorts of locally-made creations when you visit artists' studios and in group exhibitions in Common Venues throughout the city.

Due to technical issues, Just A Start is holding a repeat session of their first AHO meeting on September 18th at 6 p.m. via Zoom to present updated designs and to collect feedback on their proposed development at 240 Broadway (Broadway Park). Porter Square Community Meeting - A Focus on Porter Square - January 30, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Join us for a virtual Community Meeting as part of the Mass Ave Planning Study (MAPS) to review and provide feedback on alternative ideas for the future of Porter Square! This is your opportunity to weigh in on potential updates, including zoning changes, urban design concepts, and open space improvements.

In observance of the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 4, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed, and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations. Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind schedule for the rest of that week.

The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. April's meeting, previously scheduled for April 23, will be held on April 30, 2026 at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, in the Ackermann Room. We're excited to host our first community meeting for the Mass Ave Planning Study (MAPS) on Thursday, February 29 from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. The meeting will provide an introduction to the project; an opportunity for the community to learn more about the process; and a chance to talk with the planning team about Mass Ave! This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.
