Innovators for Purpose (iFp) Studio is a youth-powered design and innovation program where teens channel their energy and creative vision to imagine and build a better world. Blending art, design, science, technology, and storytelling within a social justice framework, teens engage in real-world client-sponsored projects. Teens are invited to learn more on the iFp website.

We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for our monthly evening story time event. This program will run for 20-25 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required. This program will be held in the Community Room of the Valente Branch Library. Please call 617-349-4015 for more information.

Every month we will read a and discuss a short story as a group. Copies of the story will be provided, and no preparation is need. This month's selection is "The Witch" by Shirley Jackson. Please drop in! If you have any questions or story recommendations, please email tmitchell@cambridgema.gov. Registration is helpful but not required.

We're getting ready to go back to school with some DIY bag charms! Join us at the Main Library in the Curious George Room on Saturday, September 13th to make your own cool charm to attach to your backpack or tote. All materials are provided. This program is for ages 9 - 12. No tickets are required.
